Well it is almost a done deal!!! In 3 weeks we will see 25 billion cut from Medicare just in 2018 along with a total of 400 billion in cuts over 10 years. This is part of the tax scam bill. Next up we will see a trillion cut from Medicaid, and who knows yet how much from SS. It is all out class warfare on the poor and middle class when these cuts go into effect it will be more than just beneficiaries who are harmed these cuts will ripple through the economy like a tidal wave triggering massive unemployment among healthcare professionals which will cause other business supported by this economic activity to make layoffs of employees. These cuts have far reaching implications for employment numbers and the overall economy. And then guess what the Koch brothers and GOP propaganda machine will try and lay all of this on the democrats plate. We must hold the GOP accountable for their actions. Don't let their propaganda fool you this is all on the GOP it will not be a delayed reaction of democratic policies but a direct result of this administrations economic policies!!!

I feel for you! But they need to take from the poor to spend more on the military and the wall across the Mexican Border(being sarcastic of course)

problem is healthcare is 1/6th of our GDP (i think 1T just this last year projected to be 45T over the next 10 years where as single payer is projected to be only 32T over the next ten years and cover everyone) and Medicaid alone (not including medicare or SS dollars) represents 60% of that economic activity. so 1.4T from medicare / medicaid plus unknown amount being cut from SS that will translate to a very high unemployment number over the next ten years and countless amounts of human suffering.
the 25B (400B over ten years) from medicare means that medicare will no longer be able to pay for cancer treatments. 1T from medicaid over ten years means that states will struggle to find money to supplement the loss of federal medicaid dollars and will have to cut services or severely limit even further medicaid eligibility.
so if these cuts go unreversed then by 2026 it will be a very dire situation for those with preexisting conditions and possibly by then if congress does not do any more stupid bills to screw people the healthcare employment situation might recover but there will definitely be a lot of unnecessary death and suffering all because of pure unregulated unchecked greed.

was watching cspan washington journal the government experts on there stated the GOP likely will not get the deep cuts to medicaid that they want. might be more of a blip on the radar than a full squadron.
