More thoughts and fucking prayers for yet another mass shooting in America!!!
We don't need thoughts and God Damn prayers we need legislative action from congress!!!
Do your fucking jobs for the american people congress stop bend over for billionaires and the gun lobby!!!!
YES!! I AM PISSED OFF!!! these senseless deaths need to stop!!!

Here in Canada where you don't have a right to bear arms and the only allowed guns are hunting rifles, and there are lots of rules that go with that, even those can't just be had by anyone. Yet there's still shootings all the time with handguns obtained illegally and if someone wants to do a crime they know where to get a gun.
How can you stop someone from doing this when you don't know who and where the next person will do this?
All I can say is bring back the death penalty for these crimes and eliminate them one by one. Problem is they do the mass shooting and then kill themselves or are shot by the police before they even get into the justice system.

Bring back the death penalty for gun related crimes that result in someones death, improve mental health services for everyone, and some common sense gun regulation and maybe it wouldn't be as bad as it is now.
some common sense gun regulation is background checks on every sale including private sale and include state mental health records search in that check and require every firearm owner have a gun safe and keep the firearms and ammo locked up when not in use and require ID and copy of gun permit to purchase ammo. keep ban Ban on silencers, ban bump stocks, and assault style weapons, keep ban on fully automatic weapons.
we don't need 10k plus gun laws just some common sense national gun regulation and the states should have reciprocity, your permit in one state for be good in another state just like a Drivers License.
and then free health care for life for the victims of gun crimes. victims of gun crimes should not have to setup a go fund me account to get healthcare for something that was not their fault.
it turns my stomach when you see on the news another mass shooting and the victims of the crime have to setup crowdfunding accounts to pay their outrageous medical costs!!!

Its like this in Canada and still there's shootings....regularly in Toronto by gang members and others who just happen to have a handgun in their handbag to shoot someone where long ago it would just be a fight in the school yard.
The hand guns are there illegally imported from the States and on the street and like I said just 'cause there's a law against it doesn't mean people that want one won't get it. Drugs are illegal yet anyone who wants them know where to get them.
All you can do is either life in jail or the death penalty for using a gun in the commission of a crime. That should be mandatory.

if guns are a right then healthcare should be a right as well so the victims of these mass shootings don't need to set up a go fund me account to pay their medical bills (which funds are taxable btw) and if the mass shooter has an estate or in the case of a minor the parents, then that estate should be forfeited to the government to offset the medical bills and / or burial costs of the victims.

If little Johnnie or Jane shoots up a school and it is found that the parents knew or should have known the child was disturbed and/or it is found that the child used firearms obtained from the parents then the parents should be held just as legally liable as the minor and all the parents assets should be confiscated by the federal government to help offset the costs (victims medical and/or burial costs) involved in the shooting and in the case of an adult in addition to criminal penalties imposed all assets and monies should be confiscated by the government to help offset costs to the victims.
