this snap shot of an NRA letter to a judicial member represents everything that is wrong with this country. i thought blackmail was illegal? you can bet this is a good representation of what other industries such as big pharma and big insurance are capable of. any politician [don't care if there is a D or R before their name] who sells the country out to the highest bidder need to be prosecuted for treason. they are suppose work for us not big industry. Absolutely right!!
This is what's wrong with a capitalist democracy. Big Corporations run the government, even buy a government to get into power for there interests. It's the way the system works. All the wealth is controlled by a few....maybe 1% of the population and they have the money to donate to the party they want in power so they can run the campaign and get elected. Why do you think Donald Trump gutted all funding for environment things like the Great lakes, bringing back coal, why...he would destroy Yellowstone if there was drop of oil there...because big business funds the Republican campaign and when they get elected they do for big business. That's why our environment suffers so a few can make big bucks. It's corruption!!!
Do you know why there won't be health care in the USA? Because the insurance companies are huge corporations who control the government and have a lot of power along with the doctors who think of health care as a capitalist venture.
The reason part 15 rules are what they are is because the rich corporations have government in their "pockets" so laws benefit them.
Bernie Sanders should be president as he seems to be someone out for the average person and would stand up to the mighty few.
Consider this....Someone who plays basketball in the NBA and can shoot the ball in the basket from 20 feet 8 out of 10 times makes 20 million dollars a year!! With a month's practice I could do that too!! Why don't I get that job? But the most of us who do the jobs that keep society going...the farmers who are responsible for the food you go and buy, the person who serves you in the store, the people who deliver the mail, the delivery people who get everything to everyplace, the workers who build the house you live in, the police who keep some degree of law and order, teachers who educate you, the factory workers that make everything you use.....WE HAVE NOTHING!! Only the very few have all the wealth and privilege. And the minimum wage is kept so low that you can't even afford a decent place to live....because the rich have the laws made for them. That's why nothing's made here so they can get people to work for nothing to make more profit. Why do you need 100 million(or billion) dollars a year in profit...97 million(billion) wouldn't be enough and you could do better for the people who make everything and keep society going. How much do you need???
Is it fair that the player in the NBA gets 100 million in 3 years for shooting a ball in a basket but the person who lays the bricks for 10 hours a day for 40 years and gets a stinking week holiday a year for building the houses we live in gets F...K all!!!! and then have Trump wanting to gut old age security when he wants to have some time in his life to enjoy a bit before he gets sick and dies?
The wealth should be divided more equally. The rich few and their money shouldn't run the country. It's corruption.
Ok I've had my rant. I will take a breath now and go out and sit in the sun and listen to my station.
