Those programs exist now and have existed for decades, they are entrenched in our society and economy and can't just be pulled out of the economy without serious deleterious effects and I'm going to ask, if we abolish these programs what are we supposed to do with the millions of working poor, disabled, and elderly who currently rely on these programs for their survival? not to mention how are we suppose to prevent another great depression when we abolish these programs? remember for every dollar spent on these programs they generate 1.50-2.00 in economic activity.
just let them die in the streets without any care like we did before FDR instituted many of these programs?
These programs were created for a reason and most have forgotten the reasons these programs were created.
